Manchester United forward Memphis Depay has been dropped from the Netherlands squad.

There is also no place for the club's former striker Robin van Persie for friendlies against Wales and Germany.

Boss Danny Blind says van Persie has not found his rhythm since moving to Fenerbahce, but was also critical of Memphis' attitude.

"In football you must function in a team. He doesn’t always do that. I have also told him when I called him to say he’s not in there. That’s something he has to learn," said Blind, who is the father of Memphi's Man United team-mate Daley.

The Netherlands failed to qualify for Euro 2016.
