Andy Murray has suffered a shock quarter-final defeat to an 18-year-old Croatian at the Dubai Tennis Championships.

Former US Open junior champion Borna Coric beat the Scot in straight sets 6-1, 6-3 to reach the last four.

Murray recently fell to a surprise loss in Rotterdam to Gilles Simon, having reached the Australian Open final earlier this month.
