Munster say that they are still waiting to learn the full extent of Simon Zebo's injury.
The Ireland and Lions winger has yet to undergo scans on the left ankle injury that he suffered in Edinburgh last weekend, with Munster now hoping to know more about the problem by early tomorrow.
However, head coach Rob Penney has already accepted that Zebo's injury has the potential to be a significant one that could keep the winger sidelined for several weeks.
Munster captain Peter O'Mahony is expected to return to the side for Saturday's clash with Gloucester at Thomond Park and he says they are determined to make-up for their shock defeat in Scotland.
"Obviously we gave a performance that was not good enough and wasn't up to Munster standards. We're putting it behind us because we have a big week ahead of us," he said.
