Munster have confirmed the short term signing of former South Africa Junior World Cup winner Pat Howard.

The centre has signed a three-month deal with the province who are without Keith Earls and Cian Bohane while Tyler Bleyendaal's arrival has been delayed due to injury.

Howard (22) had been playing with Western Province, scoring two tries during his club's successful 2014 Currie Cup campaign.
