West Ham manager Sam Allardyce is urging David Moyes to spend some time away from the game.
Moyes was sacked by Manchester United earlier this week after less than a season in charge.
Allardyce knows the former Old Trafford boss well, and believes he should take some time out to regroup.
"Stay with the family, time to reflect and time to enjoy life without the pressures of Premier League football will do him the world of good. He emerges again, he emerges a better manager than he already has been and he has been one hell of a manager," said Allardyce who was out of the game for six months between his dismissal by Blackburn and his move to West Ham in June 2011.
