The south club coast have already lost Adam Lallana, Luke Shaw, Rickie Lambert, Calum Chambers and Dejan Lovren to top Premier League sides.

Speculation also suggested that Morgan Schneiderlin would join the exodus, with a Tottenham move mooted.
