Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has been given a one-match stadium ban and fined £40K after admitting a charge of misconduct from the English FA.

The Blues boss has been punished after he was to the stands after confronting the referee at half-time during their Premier League defeat at West Ham.

It comes at a testing time for the Blues manager, who saw his struggling side lose 3-1 at home to Liverpool on Saturday, leaving the club 15th in the league table.

It has also emerged today that former Chelsea team doctor Eva Carneiro is pursuing an individual legal claim against Mourinho, on top of her suing the club for constructive dismissal.
