Monaghan have won the Allianz Football League Division 2 crown with a win over Donegal at Croke Park this afternoon.

The reigning Ulster champions, Monaghan, controlled the game for the majority of the 70 minutes and, despite a Michael Murphy goal tying the game on 53 minutes, dominated the final 20 minutes to seal the 1-16 to 1-10 win.
