Minnesota Vikings continued their unbeaten start to the season on Monday night with a 24-10 home win over the New York Giants.

The win for Mike Zimmer's side moved the team to 4-0 for the season. The Vikings are now only one of three unbeaten teams this season. They join the SuperBowl champion Denver Broncos in winning their first four games. Philadelphia Eagles remain on 3-0, after a bye-week.

The Vikings never trailed in the match, taking a 7-0 lead in the first quarter, courtesy of a Matt Asiata rushing touchdown. The team doubled their points total in the second quarter, when quarterback Sam Bradford threw to tight-end Kyle Rudolph.

With a comfortable 14-point lead at half-time, the Vikings never looked in trouble, but it took until the final quarter to enter the end-zone once more. Jerick McKinnon scored a rushing touchdown from four yards. It was the first time Asiata and McKinnon scored in the same game, since Adrian Peterson was injured in the Week 2 win over the Green Bay Packers.

Next week, the Vikings travel to Texas to meet the Houston Texans, while the Giants travel north-west once more, to face the Green Bay Packers.
