Newcastle owner Mike Ashley is not actively looking to sell the club, contrary to some newspaper reports.

He bought the St James' Park outfit for about £134 million in the summer of 2007.

In an interview, Ashley admitted that Newcastle, his business Sports Direct and even his home are always up for sale, but only at a price which would make him want to sell.
