After yesterday's Europa League draw, one FC Midtjylland player was excited than most to draw Manchester United in the Round of 32.

Finnish international Tim Sparv is a fan of Louis van Gaal's side and was delighted to be drawn against the Old Trafford side.

After the Danish side reached the knockout stages last week, Sparv made it clear what team he wanted to face in February. Luckily for him, the one in 16 chance came through.

These type of stories usually occur in the FA Cup where a player in a non-league side might end up playing the team he supports, but never in the Europa League.

United will be expected to advance comfortably, but Sparv and his team mates will hope to cause a shock. The 28-year-old played for Southampton as a youth team player and scored against the side in the Europa League earlier this year. He will hope to do the same in Old Trafford next year.
