Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods are just two members of an 11-man Ryder Cup Task Force charged with improving America's performance in the tournament.

Jim Furyk and Rickie Fowler will also be part of the group, as well as three former US captains.

Captain selection, the qualification system and team selection will all be examined in the wake of Europe's convincing win at Gleneagles last month.

2014 captain Tom Watson faced criticism for his management with Mickelson especially vocal in a post-tournament press conference.
