Michael Ryan is being lined up as Eamon O'Shea's successor as Tipperary hurling manager.
The selector's name will be put to a county board meeting on Wednesday, with a view to installing him in the hotseat at the end of the 2015 season.
2010 All Ireland-winner Darragh Fanning is also set to come on board the Tipp management team as a selector from next season.
