Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill admits he's disappointed that he did not give himself the opportunity to vote in the "Brexit" Referendum.

But he has vowed to not let Great Britain leaving the European Union effect his team's preparations for the round of 16 clash with Wales at Euro 2016.

O'Neill who failed to vote in the referendum is adamant his team will be focused on reaching the quarter-finals of the European Championships for the first time in their history.

"Listen, I don't think our players are too concerned about that at this minute in time, their focus is on a game of football. They probably aren't that focused on it in general anyway," he said.

"I personally made an error because I didn't give myself the opportunity to vote by postal vote so I am disappointed with that myself. Listen it's not an issue for us it will not effect in anyway shape of form going into this tournament and for the remainder of the tournament and it's something as I say for us to deal with later down the line."
