Rene Meulensteen has been appointed as head coach at Fulham.
The former Manchester United coach was rumoured to be close to taking over as Crystal Palace manager, but will now work alongside Martin Jol at Craven Cottage instead.
He worked under Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford, but left last summer after David Moyes took over at the club.
