Rory Mcllroy has recovered from an early wobble to open up a three shot lead at the Honda Classic.

The overnight leader bogeyed two of his opening three holes at Palm Beach earlier to briefly slip off the top of the leaderboard.

But, after recovering those dropped shots before making the turn, a run of three consecutive birdies has now seen McIlroy move to 10-under par for the tournament with four holes left to play.

American Russell Henley is his closest challenger on 7-under.

Graeme McDowell is now 3-under par through 13 holes today, with Padraig Harrington and Darren Clarke teeing off later from 2-under and 7-over respectively.
