Rory McIlroy is pulling further clear of the field at the Open.

After speaking earlier in the week about struggling to following-up on a strong opening round, the former World Number 1 is 4-under par for his second round at Hoylake today.

He is now on 10-under par at the moment and a massive four shots clear of his closest challengers.

Francesco Molinari, Sergio Garcia, Dustin Johnson and Ryan Moore are all tied for second place on 6-under.
