Rory McIlroy carried on the fluctuating trajectory he has made his own in recent weeks at the Memorial Tournament yesterday, following Friday’s disastrous round with a three under 69 that included an eagle 3 at the par 5 eleventh.
Bubba Watson took the lead on Saturday, wiping out Paul Casey’s three shot lead with a three under 69 pushing him to twelve under while Casey hit a four over 76 to drop to 8 over.
Watson holds a one shot lead over fellow American Scott Langley, with Japan’s Hideki Matsuyama one further back after a 67 and Australia’s Adam Scott fourth on 9 under.
