Rory McIlroy leads the field on the opening day of the Scottish Open at Royal Aberdeen.
The World Number 8 carded a 7-under par 64 that included a run of 6 birdies in 7 holes.
He is a shot clear of Sweden's Kristoffer Broberg and Argentina's Ricardo Gonzalez.

Michael Hoey has also continued his good form. He is just two shots off the lead on 5-under par, after shooting a round of 66 today.
Meanwhile, Darren Clarke, Gareth Maybin and Kevin Phelan have all finished on 2-under par while Padraig Harrington carded a level par 71.
