Rory McIlroy could not keep pace with a surging pack as he finished tied for sixth along with Peter Uihlein in Antalya, Turkey at the Turkish Airlines Open.

Shane Lowry, on the other hand, jumped four places on the final day as he shot a tournament-best 66 to finish in eighth.

At the top of the leaderboard, Victor Dubuisson, pipped Jaco Van Zyl at the last hole after Van Zyl jumped to an early tournament lead, shooting a 61 on the opening day.

McIlroy shot two 67's to start the tournament and did not drop a shot until he bogeyed the third on day three. He finished today -1 but with Dubuisson, Van Zyl shooting six and five under respectively, it was going to need to be a special round by McIlroy if he wanted to finish atop the leaderboard.

Shane Lowry is currently ranked 17th in the world, while McIlroy sits 3rd just behind Jason Day and Jordan Spieth.
