Graeme McDowell and Shane Lowry both won their opening matches at this week's World Matchplay Championship in London.
McDowell has made a winning start to his title defence after beating last week's Portugal Masters winner, Alexander Levy 3&2.
And Lowry proved too good for Scotland's Stephen Gallacher beating the Ryder Cup star, also 3&2.
