Mayo are through to the Senior Football semi-finals following a thrilling 1-19 to 2-15 win over Cork.

A superb Aidan O'Shea goal four minutes from time looked to put the game beyond the Rebels, but Brian Hurley went straight down the field, burying the ball past Rob Hennelly to keep Cork in touch.

Donal Vaughan and Lee Keegan scored two more points to secure the Mayo lead, and a pair of Cork points - including from a last minute free - were not enough to push a draw.

Mayo will now face Kerry on August 24th in the semi-finals following the Kingdom's 1-20 to 2-10 victory over Galway this afternoon.

There was also success for the Mayo minors today, they reached the All Ireland semis with a 3-13 to 0-9 win over Armagh - aided in no small part by two quick second half goals from Brian Reape.
