Division 1

Mayo beat Kerry by 0-15 to 1-6 at McHale Park to get off to a winning start in Division One of the Allianz Football League.

James O'Donoghue scored the Kerry goal but they failed to score in the second half and they also had Anthony Maher sent off.

Division 2

Galway beat Derry by 1-15 to 0-15 points at Pearse Stadium.

14-man Westmeath came from behind to edge out Louth by 0-16 to 2-9 in Mullingar. 

Longford were leading for much of the game, but Wexford came back in the second half to win 2-8 to 1-10 at Wexford Park.

 

Division 3

Monaghan hammered Meath by 1-18 to 2-3 in Division 3.

Antrim beat Cavan by 1-14 to 2-9

Fermanagh got the better of Wicklow by 1-16 to 0-9. 

Roscommon saw off Sligo by 1-11 to 1-8.

Division 4

Offaly made a winning start in division 4 with a 1-13 to 1-5 win in London.

Waterford beat Clare by 1-9 to 0-11.

Limerick were 0-11 to 0-9 winners against FBD League champions Leitrim. 

Carlow edged out Tipperary by 1-14 to 0-16.

Hurling

Wexford beat Kilkenny by 2-18 to 16 points to advance to the Walsh Cup final where they'll face Dublin.

Tipperary booked their place in the final of the Waterford Crystal Cup with a 0-20 to 2-12 win over Limerick IT.
