Mayo have named an experimental team for their National League opener against Kildare on Sunday.

Wing-back Brendan Harrison and wing-forward Adam Gallagher will both be making their League debuts, while Keith Higgins has been named at centre-forward.

The likes of Aidan O'Shea, Lee Keegan, Andy Moran and Ger Cafferkey will add some much-needed experience to James Horan's side.

Mayo have also confirmed that Moran will continue as captain this year, with Keegan and Cillian O'Connor named as vice-captains.
