Gareth Maybin's second round has unravelled at the South African Open. 

Three birdies in his opening six holes moved him into contention, but the Belfast player carded a double-bogey and three bogeys en route to a disappointing 73.

Maybin ends the day on level par, and is eight adrift of current leader, England's Andy Sullivan. 

Peter Lawrie will be lucky to make the cut - he's two shots from safety on three over after shooting a 76.
