Donegal's Mark McHugh is a doubt for their fourth round qualifier game against Laois in Carrick on Shannon.

The All Star forward spent last night in hospital after a collision forced him off during the early stages of yesterday's Ulster final defeat to Monaghan and it has now been confirmed that he will have to spend a second night under observation.

Donegal's three-in-row bid came to a shuddering halt yesterday afternoon as Monaghan ended a 25-year provincial drought.
