Louis Van Gaal will not be announced as Manchester United's manager until the end of the season.

The Times are reporting that while the deal is done the 62-year-old's appointment will not be confirmed until next week.

Man United' final match of the season takes place this Sunday as they travel to Southampton.

Van Gaal, who takes charge of his native Holland at this summer's World Cup, has got the first of three brief national team training camps underway this week.
