Manchester United have opened up a 15 point lead at the top of the Premier League after a 4-0 win at home to Norwich.

Shinji Kagawa scored a hat-trick while Wayne Rooney got the fourth to move United one step closer to the title.

Next up for United is Real Madrid at Old Trafford on Tuesday and Real warmed up for that game with a 2-1 win over Barcelona in the El Clasico.

Elsewhere today Chelsea beat West Brom 1-0 at Stamford Bridge thanks to a Demba Ba goal which moves them back up to third place.

Everton won 3-1 at home to Reading with Marouane Fellaini, Steven Pienaar and Kevin Mirallas scoring the goals for the home side.

Bottom side QPR won 2-1 away to Southampton

Loic Remy and Jay Bothroyd got the goals for Harry Redknapp's side while it finished 2-2 between Sunderland and Fulham at the Stadium of Light.

Dimitar Berbatov and Sascha Riether gave Fulham the lead but Sunderland replied with goals from Craig Gardener and Stephane Sessegnon.

West Ham beat Stoke 1-0 at the Britannia as Jack Collison got on target for the Hammers

Swansea were also 1-0 winners at home to Newcastle at the Liberty Stadium.
