Manchester City have kept their title hopes alive after a 3 - 1 win over West Brom.
The home side were 2 - 0 up within 10 minutes as Pablo Zabaleta heading past Ben Foster and Sergio Aguero curling in from range.
However West Brom pegged them back as Graham Dorrans showed good control in the box before finishing beyond Joe Hart.
But City restored their two goal lead shortly after the half hour mark as Martin Demichelis poked in a Samir Nasri corner.
The result leaves the Sky Blues six points behind Liverpool with a game in hand.
However, there will be concern for Manuel Pellegrini after playmaker David Silva was stretchered off in the second half with an ankle injury.
The club are already without top scorer and midfield powerhouse Yaya Toure.
