Manchester City have reportedly offered James Milner an improved contract offer.

The versatile 29-year-old England international is out of contract at the end of the season and has so far held-off on signing a new deal with City as he weighs-up his options.

The club are now believed to be offering the midfielder a four-year deal that would make him one of the top earners at Eastlands.

Game-time is said to be one of the issues causing the ex-Leeds and Newcastle man to question his future at City, but this season he made six starts in the Champions League and 

Arsenal, Roma and Liverpool are among the clubs believed to retain a strong interest in a player who can play across midfield and also performed adequately as an auxiliary striker this season.
