Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has not ruled out the possibility of bringing in more players when the January transfer window opens on Wednesday.

Second placed City spent about £90 million during the summer to bring in Alvaro Negredo, Fernandinho and Jesus Navas, Martin Demichelis and Stevan Jovetic.

Despite that outlay, Pellegrini is open to the possibility of shelling out again.

"We are always analyzing what we need or what we don't need," said the Chilean. "We'll see what we are going to do in the next days."
