Ian Madigan will start at out-half for Leinster's trip to face Munster on St Stephen's Day.

The Ireland international has been named in the number 10 shirt for the first time since playing against Zebre in October.

It's one of several changes made by head coach Matt O'Connor for the Guinness PRO12 match at Thomond Park, which is sold-out.

Richardt Strauss, Mike McCarthy, Dominic Ryan and Jack Conan come into the Leinster pack. Strauss is set to earn his 100th cap for the province.

Gordon D'Arcy comes into the centre to partner Luke Fitzgerald.

Felix Jones will captain Munster. The full-back returns to a side that shows eight changes from the side beaten by Glasgow last time out.

There's a new half-back pairing of Duncan Williams and Ian Keatley while winger Ronan O'Mahony also comes into the back-line.
