His Top 50 status also secures him a first invitation to the Masters in Augusta.
Securing a Top 50 place has been a long-held ambition for the Offaly man, who scored a first career hole in one in Dubai.

In March, he told Off The Ball that: "I want to play in the Masters this time next year which means I have to get into the Top 50 by the end of the year."
