Peter Coonan has landed a role as David Drumm in the new drama film The Guarantee.
Coonan, who played Fran in hit Irish television series Love/Hate, will portray the shamed banker in the film about the collapse of the Irish economy.

Peter will be joined by fellow cast members David Murray as Brian Lenihan, Gary Lydon as Brian Cowen and Morgan Jones who as Sean Fitzpatrick.
The film will closely examine the events of 29 September 2008, the night the Government decided to guarantee the entire banking system in Ireland.
It will being four years previously at the peak of the Irish economy and follow through to the infamous crash.
The film will be shot in TV3's new Sony HD Studio and shooting is believed to begin on 21 July.
