London have recorded the upset of this year and many others, with a one point win over Sligo giving them their first Connacht championship win in 36 years.

The Exiles were 1-4 to 0-1 up early on, and could even afford a missed penalty from Sligo man Padraig McGoldrick. McGoldrick saw red for a second bookable offence in the second half but his side were able to hang on despite a late surge from Sligo.
