Liverpool picked up their first win of the Europa League group stages after a 1-0 win over their hosts Rubin Kazan in Russia.

A well-taken goal from Jordon Ibe at the start of the second-half was enough to finally break the deadlock and hand the Reds all three points.

The other game in Group B finished in a 1-1 draw, which means that Liverpool are now just two points behind leaders Sion.

Meanwhile, Celtic manager Ronny Deila is likely to face more calls for his resignation after watching his side's Europa League chances take another hammering.

The Hoops were beaten 2-1 by Molde tonight at Parkhead, which leaves them rooted to the bottom of Group A.

Irish international James McClean has expressed his disappointment with the lack of fighting spirit shown by the Celtic players after the SPL champions finished the game with just ten men following the sending off of Nir Bitton in the closing stages.
