Liverpool are without four defenders for the visit of Arsenal. Daniel Agger, Glen Johnson, Jose Enrique and Mamadou Sakho are all unavailable due to injury which means Kolo Toure and Aly Cissokho are likely to start.

Holding midfielder Lucas is also missing because of a knee injury.

Arsenal are also missing a defensive midfielder with Mathieu Flamini serving the second match of a four game ban incurred for a two-footed challenge in the 2 - 2 draw against Southampton.

Jack Wilshere faces a late test on his ankle.
