Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers believes his side deserved their victory at Burnley.

The Reds ended a run of three top flight games without a victory by beating the Clarets 1-0 at Turf Moor thanks to a Raheem Sterling goal.

Rodgers told Sky Sports News that all three points were earned.

"Burnley make it so difficult. They work from the very first whistle right to the end, especially here at home. You've really got to earn the points here. So to come here and get the victory today, I'm delighted for the players," said Rodgers.
