Liverpool have cancelled a Q&A session with chief executive Ian Ayre amid ongoing rows over ticket prices.

Supporters of the club left in the 77th minute of Liverpool's 2-2 draw with Sunderland on Saturday in protest to the cost for the most expensive match ticket next season, £77.

Ayre was scheduled to answer questions sent in by fans via Twitter about the controversial 2016-17 pricing structure on the club's television station at 6pm this evening.

The club have since cancelled the event and have taken the decision to review the controversial ticket hikes.

Member's of the Fenway Sports Group and some of the Liverpool hierarchy held emergency talks after Saturday’s protest and then again on Sunday as supporters threatened more action in upcoming home games against Chelsea and Manchester City.
