Leitrim beat Sligo by 8 points to 5 to win their first ever FBD League title.
Leitrim went in to the second half with 0-5 to 0-2 lead at Markievicz Park and they were able to maintain that gap to claim a first ever FBD trophy.
In hurling, Tipperary beat Limerick by 22 points to 1-9 to advance to the semi final of the Waterford Crystal Cup.

Clare also went through thanks to a 3-13 to 1-13 win over UL.
In the Walsh Cup quarter finals, Galway beat Carlow by 2-15 to 1-9 while Wexford got the better of Offaly by 1-24 to 1-15.
