Leinster have confirmed that Jimmy Gopperth is looking to leave the province at the end of the season.

The out-half is reportedly in talks with Wasps about a return to the Aviva Premiership when his two-year contract with Leinster ends next summer.

With Johnny Sexton set to return from Racing Metro for next season, Leinster skills coach Richie Murphy has revealed that they are aware that Gopperth is seeking a move and that he has spoken to Wasps about a move to the Coventry bound club.

"He has decided to have a look around and that is where that is at the moment. We are aware that he is looking and we are aware that Wasps were talking to him but they aren’t the only team talking to him," said Murphy.
