Sheffield United defied the odds again to reach the League Cup semi-finals.

The Blades edged Premier League side Southampton 1 - 0 thanks to Marc McNulty's 63rd minute goal.

The defeat was a fifth in succession for the Saints.

Chelsea beat Derby 3-1 to join the League One club in the last four.

Eden Hazard opened the scoring with a run towards goal before finishing with aplomb.

Filipe Luis' second half free-kick made it 2 - 0, before Derby's Craig Bryson pulled one back.

But Andre Schurrle added a third three minutes from time to put Chelsea into the semi-finals.
