Many GAA players have sampled Australian Rules football but some have not made the grade for a variety of reasons.

But Zach Tuohy is unlikely to be one of those.

The former Laois minor and current Carlton Blues star joined Ger and Colm in studio ahead of the 1st test in the Irish Daily Mail International Rules Series which will be live on Off The Ball this Saturday.

The former Portlaoise clubman has set deep roots in Australia since arriving in 2010 following a successful trial.

His partner is Australian and they are expecting their first child.

But he has not ruled out coming back to line out for Laois for a year in the future as he has unfinished business with his county.

Tuohy talked about the game of Aussie Rules and what skills the Indigenous players will bring to the two legs of the International Rules series.
