Northern Ireland striker Kyle Lafferty has joined Italian second-tier side Palermo.

The former Rangers man moves from Swiss side Sion for an undisclosed fee.

He will link up with ex-Rangers and AC Milan midfielder Gennaro Gatttuso who is the club's latest manager.

The last decade has seen 44 managers appointed at the Sicilian side, with the owner Maurizio Zamparini prone to public outbursts, including threats to eat his players testicles in his salad.
