Vincent Kompany today entered the pantheon of the great own goals. This effort at Craven Cottage made it 2-2 between Fulham and City and ensured Kompany’s place among the great practitioners of the calamitous own goal.

City went on to win 4-2, with goals from Yaya Toure, Kompany, James Milner and Jesus Navas.
