Ronald Koeman insists he has no plans to desert Southampton in order to become manager of the Netherlands.

He is being touted to succeed under-pressure Guus Hiddink, with the Dutch losing two out of their opening three Euro 2016 qualifiers.

Koeman, who has led Southampton up to third in the Premier League, says he was interested in the job before Hiddink was appointed as Louis van Gaal's successor.

But he says that the position does not tempt him right now.

"They have to wait if they like me as coach. It's football and I don't move. There's no chance to move now out of Southampton," said the former Barcelona defender and Feyenoord manager.
