Jurgen Klopp has pulled out of the race to replace David Moyes as Manchester United manager.

The Borussia Dortmund boss has been linked with the role in recent weeks and is also a favourite among fans.

But today Klopp ruled himself out of the running as he underlined his loyalty to Dortmund.

"Manchester United is a great club and I feel very familiar with their wonderful fans. But my commitment to Borussia Dortmund and the people is not breakable," he told The Guardian.

The German has led Dortmund to two Bundesliga titles and last year's Champions League final. His current contract runs out in 2018 and he has consistently emphasized that he intends to honour it.

Ryan Giggs has been appointed caretaker manager until the end of the season.
