Kieran Donaghey looks likely to miss Kerry's Munster Championship campaign.
The forward suffered a dislocated shoulder while playing for his club Austin Stacks yesterday.
Donaghey had a scan on the shoulder yesterday, with the recovery time likely to take between 8 and 12 weeks.
It is a further blow to Donaghey and the Kingdom, as the two-time All Star missed the League campaign with a groin injury.
Kerry star Colm 'Gooch' Cooper is already ruled out of the entire championship, while Darran O'Sullivan suffered a hamstring tear against Cork. However the latter is expected to be fit for the provincial campaign which throws in against Clare or Waterford in late June.
