The Athletics world is about to be rocked by another bribery scandal.

Two Kenyan runners are claiming that they were asked to pay over $20,000 each to have their doping suspensions reduced.

Joy Sakari and Francisca Koki Manunga were both banned for doping at the 2015 world championships but they have told The Associated Press that the head of Athletics Kenya asked them for $24,000 dollars each to reduce their suspensions.

"He was waiting for us to give him money, so that this 'thing' disappears. We left, kept quiet and later that's when our names came out and we were told that we've been banned because we did not deliver that money," said Manunga.

Athletics Kenya deny the allegations.
