The Jurgen Klopp era did not have its fairytale start in Anfield last night as his side drew 1-1 with Rubin Kazan in the Europa League.
Liverpool came from behind after conceding in the opening 15 minutes from a Marko Devic goal. Emre Can score Liverpool's first goal of the Klopp regime before half time but Liverpool were unable to find the winner in the second half.
After three games in this seasons Europa League, Liverpool lie on three points having drawn all their games. They are in second place in Group B, four points behind FC Sion.
Speaking to BT Sport after the game, the German manager was happy to earn a point against the Russian side.
"The team is not full of self-confidence." Klopp believes @LFC's decision-making will improve over time. #UEL https://t.co/Z3vX4EmEOc
